Bathroom Renovations and Covid-19

Covid-19 certainly hasn’t stopped people needing or wanting to upgrade their bathrooms. However, we understand you may have concerns when it comes to having tradesmen in your home during these unprecedented times. Keeping you, your household and our staff safe, is our number one priority. We have undertaken many bathroom renovations throughout the pandemic, which means we know exactly what we must do to keep everyone safe. So, there is no need to miss out on your Bathroom Goals!

Keeping you safe

Before we start any work, we will complete a risk assessment to see if it’s safe for the work to go ahead and explain to you any safety measures we are taking. Our bathroom installers will always wear a face mask or shield, use hand sanitiser and continually sanitise all surfaces areas they touch. Where possible, we will ask you to keep windows and doors open to help improve air circulation. We always accept payment through bank transfer or card in order to avoid any physical cash exchanging hands.

Limiting Contact

It’s vital that social distancing is maintained throughout the project. When we are in your home, we ask that you remain in another room to limit contact. If any of our staff have a high temperature or a new persistent cough they will not come into your house. If they feel unwell while at work, they will be sent home and required to do a lateral flow test and will isolate if positive. We request that your household inform us if they also experience the same symptoms so that we can put into place a contingency plan. If anyone in your household has COVID-19 symptoms or is self-isolating or shielding, we will need to postpone the project until a more suitable time.

Complying with guidelines

We’ll continue to follow the latest Covid-19 Government guidelines when working in your property. We also follow the Construction Leadership Council and the BiKBBI issued guidelines for fitters and tradesmen working during the pandemic. All our staff are fully trained and best-in-class employees. They fully understand and comply with all health and safety matters. Ensuring your safety during your bathroom renovation enables us to complete your Bathroom Goals on time.
